Managing GHG emissions reporting in a growing wind energy industry

Vasa Vind faced the growing need to accurately calculate, track, and report their greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions in compliance with global standards such as the GHG Protocol and ISO 14064. With increasing regulatory demands and a strong commitment to sustainability, Vasa Vind needed a robust solution to ensure their GHG calculations were precise, transparent, and aligned with best practices. This presented a significant challenge, as the company had to not only manage current emissions data but also integrate a large volume of historical data into a standardized framework.

Knowit imported Vasa Vind’s historical data and past assessments into the platform, ensuring that all previous emissions were accounted for and aligned with the GHG Protocol and ISO 14064 standards. This setup provided Vasa Vind with a unified platform to track, calculate, and report their GHG emissions efficiently. 

Knowit further supported Vasa Vind by streamlining the data collection process.
