Testit through the years
The first Testit was held in 2015 and the conference has developed with each passing year, always staying at the cutting edge and focusing on current themes in the testing area.
Testit 2023
At Testit 2023, we heard plenty of inspiring stories under our Storytellers theme for the year, and we brought a little extra storytelling in by having an illustrator capture some of the sessions as well. Huib Schoots, who inspired the whole theme, held a fantastic Keynote on test reporting and the art of storytelling, Elin Perttu hosted a creative and indepth leadership workshop, Ulla-Karin Barrett gave us an epic glance through the past, present and future on digital inclusivity and Indranil Sinha provided a great demo on two successful automation projects from his company. And we don't think we have ever related to, or laughed as much as we did at Anssi Lehteläs Try not to laugh - a testers fail compilation session. All of this, and so much more from our speakers and participants, made Testit 2024 a fantastic day!
Testit 2022
During Testit 2022, we set a new record of number of participants at the conference! The theme was IT security, and people from 8 different countries found their way to Malmö. It was an intense day at Comfort Hotel, with sesions from Christoffer Jerkeby, Åsa Schwarz, David Jacoby, and Vivien Ibironke Ibiyemi, among others. Bas Dijkstra also joined us to hold several sessions and give an extra workshop the day before the conference.
Testit 2021
After having cancelled last years conference, we were so happy to be back with Testit 2021. With covid in mind we postponed the conference to November and put several special measures in place to ensure the safety and comfort of our participants but managed a great conference with the fitting theme ReConnect. We were at cozy Sankt Gertrud in Malmö. The day was jam-packed with interesting sessions from local speakers like Maria Kedemo, Jimmy Dahlqvist and Fredrik Scheja. We also brought in the fantastic Huib Schoots who held several sessions. Topics ranged on everything from DevOps to Storytelling! We also introduced a brand new session type for Testit - A panel session, hosting several of our speakers.

Along with so many other events and activites during this year, our conference could not be held. The safety of our participants are our highest priority, so we took the difficult but necessary decision early to cancel Testit 2020.
Testit 2019
We strive to make every single one of our conferences special, but this year we went big. A fantastic range of some of the best both local and international speakers that our industry has to offer. Exclusive giveaways, an extravagant cocktail party - naturally including a toast for our five-year anniversary - and so much more. The theme this year was, appropriately, the future and our sessions included exciting subjects on everything from how to learn and test efficiently to machine learning, security and AI.
Testit 2018
The conference grew and we moved to new premises, with a great setting in Malmö börshus.
The theme of the year was non-functional requirements, "Illities," and we explored non-functional testing through interesting sessions covering everything from testing of an airport to an exciting recording of quality assurance in DevOps.
Testit 2017
With two different tracks on the theme "Automation och Creative Testing," Testit 2017 had something for everyone. The conference contained popular sessions from some of the best local speakers.
The keynote speakers were Katriina Valli, RPA evangelist, and Jurgen Appelo, author and speaker in the field of leadership and creative organizations.

Off the positive response from the first conference, we started planning for 2016. Testit was here to stay!
The theme of the year was test management, where test managers with both short and long experience sharing their keys to success and lessons learned from failures.
Testit 2015
Testit sprang from the desire to nurture the wonderful testing community in southern Sweden. The first conference was held at Media Evolution City in central Malmö.
The theme was security and the response was overwhelming, including that from some of the main experts in the field. It was great to see the conference become a reality alongside all the participants!
