When the power system changes rapidly, the challenges of ensuring a stable and reliable electricity supply increase. Svenska kraftnät leads the development of the Nordic Balancing Model (NBM) – a new, future-proof balancing model for the entire Nordic region. The framework agreement, signed with two suppliers, Knowit and HiQ, sets high demands on efficient processes alongside the secure, available, and reliable management of IT infrastructure.
– Knowit already has a framework agreement for management consulting services, and through this expanded collaboration, we now have the opportunity to create additional value for Svenska kraftnät. We are proud to broaden our mission and contribute to ensuring a stable power supply in Sweden to a greater extent, says Joakim Jonassen, Key Account Manager at Knowit.
The new framework agreement has an estimated total volume of up to SEK 1.2 billion and runs over a period of three years, with the possibility of extension.
– Our ambition is to continue being a long-term partner that brings both expertise and experience from various parts of Knowit. Svenska kraftnät has an important societal mission with high ambitions that align well with our vision of contributing to a sustainable society, says Per Wallentin, CEO of Knowit.
