Knowit collaborates to support startups in electric mobility

Fewer than ten percent of all startups in the electric vehicle industry survive their first five years. To strengthen the ecosystem around electric vehicle startups and promote sustainable transport, Knowit Swedspot, together with Vidde and STILRIDE, has decided to offer RapidRide free of charge to new mobility companies. This provides an opportunity for startups to quickly demonstrate concrete progress and functional prototypes, which in turn creates better conditions to attract potential investors.

Knowit Swedspot has been part of Knowit since 2022 and is an established software technology company focused on smart mobility solutions.

Driving innovation through collaboration

"Our common goal is to remove barriers and unleash the innovation power within the electric vehicle sector. RapidRide is an initiative where established companies collaborate to elevate new players and pave the way for future mobility solutions. The goal is ultimately to accelerate the transition to sustainable transport," says Joakim Lundvall, Knowit Swedspot.

"The new platform was launched last week, and we have already received several applications from startup companies interested in taking part in the RapidRide platform combined with our technical expertise and advisory services," says Niclas Lindmark, CEO of Knowit Swedspot.

The software platform "RapidRide" will be offered completely free of charge for up to three functional prototypes. Applications opened last week, and since the number of collaborations for 2025 is limited, startups are encouraged to apply quickly. Applications can be made via www.rapidride.rocks.
