Per Wallentin – Male Equality Champion of the Year
Our CEO, Per Wallentin, was named Male Equality Champion of the Year at the WiB Gala on March 17. The WiB Gala is an annual event that recognizes individuals and initiatives that drive change and create better conditions for women in the business world. The initiative is led by WiB Capital, a platform that works to provide more women with access to investments, networks, and opportunities to grow their businesses.
During the gala, awards were presented for:
- Female Entrepreneur of the Year
- Innovator of the Year
- Future Promise of the Year
- Male Equality Champion of the Year
Per Wallentin was one of three nominees for Male Equality Champion of the Year and was awarded the prize. With a jury consisting of experienced profiles in business and equality issues, Per received the award with the motivation: "for his active and long-term work for equality."
"Gender equality is about fairness, about people having the same opportunities to fulfill their potential. Diverse teams with different backgrounds enable wise business decisions, stronger teams, and a more sustainable business environment. I am honored to receive this award and see it as proof that together we can and do make a difference," says Per.
How we have worked to increase gender equality at Knowit
